Branson 2009 Veterans Day
The first two photos were taken just before
the Veterans Day parade began and the last was during the parade. There
were nine of us from I Troop and our spouses. The first photo shows the
banner that David Rector, from Ohio, had made. In the group picture,
Jim Bowers is front row, left. Next to him is one brother, mother, and
wife of Sgt. Cary Siler, Silver Star Recipient, KIA 1967. The youngest
brother, is taking the pictures. The last photo shows a sample of the
crowd that comes to observe the parade. Probably half the crowd is made
up of veterans. We've been participating in the parade at Branson for
several years now and proud to show our colors and unit.
