Gentlemen, we just completed a ceremony promoting Jimmy Leach to BG in the South Carolina Militia. MG Stan Spears, TAG of South Carolina, did the honors and we had a crowd of about 200 local and state leaders. Jimmy is a mainstay in the community and in South Carolina - this was certainly an overdue promotion. His resume reads like a model of service and courage to the nation and for the past 30 years to the community. I would suggest that we find some way to make note of this in our Armor Magazine....know that Jimmy would appreciate the compliment and the Armor Force might enjoy knowing of this promotion. At 79, Jimmy is in good health...Marion makes sure that he is present for duty everyday. He has the heart of a warrior...an Armor warrior. vr Pat O'Neal.
