This book is based on the direct input from hundreds of people and on the actions of literally thousands, specifically 24,241 men who served with the regiment in the Republic of Vietnam and the Kingdom of Cambodia
The book contains many previously unpublished stories from the rank of Pfc to General. Also included are articles written about the 11th ACR by professional writers, excerpts from morning reports, after action reports, lessons learned reports and historical summaries.
The words are the memories, thoughts, of soldiers, soldiers who served, fought, and bled with the Blackhorse Regiment. It also includes some stories told by friends or relatives of Troopers who can no longer speak for themselves, the 761 Troopers KIA and now quartered on Fiddler's Green!
