Here it is can anybody tell me his name?
Duplex photo of the medic that served on my vehicle, M113 ACAV
G71. He was a PFC at the time, but I can't tell you his name...as we all called
him 'Doc'! The gun shield art was a reference to his stock of supplies that
were kept on my vehicle, in wooden ammo boxes with a glorious set of
'centerfolds' stapled to the front. Also, thanks to him, we had two stretchers
slung from the interior roof and therefore, a decent place to sleep without
digging a hole at every NDP. Those stylish glasses are the ones intended for
use in an M17 gas mask." -Doug Kibbey, TC of G71, G troop, 2/11th ACR, Hau Nghia
