West Point response to inquiry by Jim Griffiths concerning Blackhorse Patch in Army Navy game.

Sir,

My name is Major Bill Lynch and I am the Director of Football Operations for Army Football.  Sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you about wearing the 11^th ACR patch in the Army-Navy Game.  You’ll be pleased to know that we have worn the 11^th ACR patch all season.  We assign patches to positions so that as many units as possible can get exposure.  The 11 ACR is assigned to the right offensive tackles.  Our starter in the position is Jon Connon.  He is a warrior and is really becoming a fine offensive lineman.  He will proudly wear the 11^th ACR patch in the game this Saturday as he goes into his biggest battle of the year!
